Municipal Government - Council

The political structure of St. Andrews Municipality consists of the Head of Council (Reeve) and six Councillors, each representing a geographic ward.

In 1997, the Ward Boundaries of St. Andrews were re-drawn and as a result, each Ward has approximately equal population. In other words, "representation by population" - each councillor has approximately the same number of constituents.
