Citizens on Patrol Program (COPPS)

Citizens on Patrol (COPPs) is a community safety initiative supported by Manitoba Public Insurance. Members of COPPs are trained observers who liaise with local law enforcement and administration to address issues of concern. The three main goals of COPPs are deterrence, education, and awareness. COPPs aims to assist in increasing awareness and providing crime prevention information to local citizens, businesses, and community organizations.

Anyone 18 years of age or older is welcome to join COPPs. More information about the provincial program is found on the website https://www.citizensonpatrolmb.ca.
