The R.M. of St. Andrews is also home to Darren Helm, 2008 Stanley Cup Champion!  St. Andrews resident Darren Helm has had some of his biggest dreams fulfilled at such a young age.  He was a member of Team Canada's gold-medal winning team at the World Junior Championships in Sweden in 2007, helped the Medicine Hat Tigers capture the Western Hockey League title, was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings and has now added 'Stanley Cup Champion' to his amazing accomplishments.  We wish Darren much success as his journey continues in his hockey career!
